• Help me choose a chair

I've been using a shitty dining chair for the last 6 months and I really need a good chair. I don't have much money but my parents offered me £100 for buying one so I'm willing to add £50 of my own if anyone knows any better ones. Here's what I've been looking at. Showing what your room looks like might help, I'm getting a new desk chair too and I'm trying to make it fit my rooms colour scheme (green walls with white furniture). The first one seems good though, especially if it does have a massage function.
Massage function, hell yeah
Electric chair
the one w/ the massage function but you can go w/ #5 for a plain black one

Hopefully getting a nicer flat in August or July. [t]http://puu.sh/hm5W9/b1ceef916d.png[/t] There's only 2.5 -3ft between my desk and my bed. [editline]21st April 2015[/editline] The massage function is tempting because I do get back pain rather often due to my shitty dining chair solution. That and it would really help with stress. That's an old photo, simply because my desk currently has a metric fucktonne of empty cider and monster cans on it as well as an overflowing ashtray due to hand-in stress. [editline]21st April 2015[/editline] Before anyone looks at my setup and says "hold on a second, I thought you had no money!?" This setup is why I have no money.
Because of your stress and back 'issues', I guess the first/second chair would be perfect for you then. How much will it cost though?
The numbers are links to the amazon pages. 1 is £77 and 2 is £90
The numbers are links to the amazon pages. 1 is £77 and 2 is £90
Wow, that's like nothing. The chairs I've been looking at are in the £100 range yet they don't have massage functions or anything else noteworthy.

I hate how expensive chairs are. These are really cheap which is why I came here for advice, I'm always weary of cheap stuff.
I just got this chair, it's absolutely brilliant. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ENZ1T4Y?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage It's currently unavailable for now but put it on your wishlist and it may come in stock, it's amazing.
Just get a regular wooden chair. That's what I use. I only have really bad upper back/lower back/leg/knee/neck pain.

Stole my flatmates slightly padded dining chair cos he never used the fuckin thing. [editline]22nd April 2015[/editline]
I just got this chair, it's absolutely brilliant. Is it actually any good?

Love this chair. Just got it and it works amazing. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/00103102/ I got the cloth version which is $30 cheaper.
my recommendation
Another chair with a massage function?
Hey uh, I don't know if this is just me. But I would actually recommend going to a furniture store and actually trying out the chairs yourself. This is something that would be better tried before bought IMO.
[thumb]http://winteriscoming.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/The-Iron-Throne.jpg[/thumb] but seriously, I like the 2nd one. The extended headrest is nice. Also, adjustable things are always good. I adjust my arm rests all the time depending on what im doing

I thought this would have got to Drop Dead by now. My parents decided to give me £100 because I mentioned back pain and now I'm getting a DXRacer. Ended up costing me £115 rather than £215 thank to them. [t]http://images.maxfps.se/data/product/390f660/dxracer_drifting_gaming_chair_-_ohdf91gn_1.jpg[/t] A lot of the reviews on Amazon had the same problems cropping up across multiple sellers so I'd rather spend the money on something that's guaranteed to last 2 years (it's in the small print somewhere on a per-part basis) More than I originally intended but I've always liked the look of DXRacers. Couldn't be happier. I appreciate the help guys. [editline]23rd April 2015[/editline] Plus I've always battled with armrests on previous chairs (I even chipped desks in the past) so adjustable ones are a godsend. That and the absolutely bonkers reclining feature will be perfect for naps.

I have tried several chairs before this and this is the most comfortable chair I've sat on yet.
