I use Virgin but BT wasn't bad when I was on it. Their homehub was terrible though.
Virgin seems to know what they're doing. No download caps, good deals and fucking fast speeds.

My Virgin connection used to cap after a certain amount of usage, I don't get one with Sky though.
I'm switching over to Sky at some point today. For an extra £10, I get 6 months free broadband, 3 months free Plus and a free HD box. Virgin kept fucking me over with their support. A week without internet and every time I tried contacting them, I was on hold for at least an hour, and never actually got to talk to somebody that knew anything about tech support.
Virgin have appalling tech support, but 90% of the time the internet is stable and fast enough. Some swedish internet provider could make a lot of money by coming to the UK

While the service was great. They fucked about with my mothers email address for about 1 mouth and kept putting off putting it back after a "System Upgrade". We called about 8 times. They all said it will be fixed in 48 hours. At the 8th one we just left. I know ISP emails is not a good idea but when you offer it and (My mother now has her own domain) you need to keep the emails and not take it away for no reason. But the service was great just the support fucking sucked so hard.
Some swedish internet provider could make a lot of money by coming to the UK
Just cos they're Swedish doesn't mean they can instantly unroll a superfast network across the country at no cost
Just cos they're Swedish doesn't mean they can instantly unroll a superfast network across the country at no cost
But if they got established and people began to convert to them for bjorkspeed internet, they'd begin to profit from their initial investment
