certain videos on youtube will not load, only audio. the player is pitch black pls help

only on some videos that i open (usually dependant on the channel, like comedy central's videos wont load for me but some other channels will) the video player as well as video are just black, but i can hear the audio. the player buttons aren't "hidden" they are nonexistant, i tried clicking where the pause button should be and it doesn't work.

i'm on google chrome, and im not using the youtube html5 trial, and it doesn't change if i am or am not using it.

i can get around this by popping out the video using javascript, or watching the video embedded on a different site like fp, but this is getting seriously annoying

Try using another browser / reinstalling chrome or something
