Adapter is fine, but PSU is overkill. Get something like [url]http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151080[/url]
don't need that much, get [url]http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341016&cm_re=modxstream-_-17-341-016-_-Product[/url] and you won't need the adapter

PSU is overkill because I might upgrade further in the future.

I checked it and the speed is faster with the one you posted, still DDR3, and it's cheaper.
