As often as jrpgs are mocked, I love the Kingdom Hearts series. Kingdom Hearts 2 is my favorite game of all time.

As far as emotional moments in video games go, I'd have to say when your Dad gets killed in Fallout 3. If you're a Liam Neeson fan, it can take a lot out of you. There are plenty of more emotional moments I've seen, but I can't think of any right now.
