Kaspersky is great because a large proportion of viruses are actually generated in Russia, spreading via Russian websites first and naturally infecting Russian users first. Since Kaspersky is developed in Russia ([url]http://www.kaspersky.co.uk/about/[/url]), they're one of the first to pick up on most viruses, and the software itself does a pretty good job of protecting, too
