Saying 'leaked' makes it sound like some huge debunked rumor
Those are pretty low, even the recommendation is low.
Yeah I'm calling horse shit. 4Gb of RAM would make BF3 stutter with the highest texture settings after about 10 minutes of playing unless you had a SSD/2GB VRAM maybe
Maybe they optimized the fuck out of it?
Those are basically bf3s requirements
Either they optimized it (even though looks VERY similar to bf3) or its just the same thing with a shiny paintjob
Multiplayer still looks fun though so i dont really care
Wait, I'm probably being dumb but why would Ubisoft even have a page for it?

Is EA selling their stuff on Uplay and just not on Steam or what?
I know I read in multiple places that it's 64 bit only (next gen after all) so it can't have 32 bit as a minimum requirement
iirc ea and ubi made a deal sometime back stating that they would sell eachothers games on eachothers services
Oh.
They'll use uPlay but not Steam as an alterative platform. Not surprised one bit.

If we work together, we can both be almost as good as steam!

Well, they're much better than steam at being slow to launch and eating up your performance. And Steam does that damn well itself!

Its because its basically the same engine with a few new things added so
Not sure why anyone would expect the system requirements to be much greater, look at the screens almost everything looks pretty close to BF3 with the exception of a few added things here and there that you'll likely need a beefier rig to run as smooth as you can with BF3 on max settings

because it's a next gen title that will be on PS4 and Xbox One

More of a reason for the game to be better optimized

for CPU's for sure, I hate how 99% of games this gen didn't have proper multi threading support because devs were too lazy. But now that consoles also use x86 octocores everything will be multithreaded
I'd say that it'd be much more GPU intensive though

oh boo hoo, a company wants to use their own already existing and functioning drm platform so they can get a 100% cut instead of a ~70% cut, that will in no way shape or form inconvenience gamers at all.
well, unless they have valve brandy loyalty or something.
