• I need a New Phone Its Going to Be Hard

So I am looking for a new Phone, I think that I should get a blackberry, my eyes are on the Blackberry Bold 9900, and/ or the Torch 9810 I would get like an android, but the thing is i recently Bought an Blackberry Playbook, which you can connect your phone to it Thanks for Comments.
Don't get the Blackberry. Go for a Galaxy S II if it's in your budget. Also, return the Playbook.
The playbook isn't looking good for RIM. They're taking huge losses just keeping them on store shelves, despite drastically marking down the price. The developer support is pretty bad compared to the iPad and Android devices, too. If all of your friends have a BlackBerry with BBM-only data plans, it might be worth getting a BlackBerry. However, RIM isn't known for being the most innovative company on the planet, so getting a BlackBerry just because you have the Playbook seems like a bad idea at this point. If you get an iPhone or an Android device, they should both have wifi hotspot features to give your playbook internet access through the cell network. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is one of the newer Android phones that came out recently. It runs the latest version of Android, has a dual core CPU, 1280x720 screen and a fairly decent camera. It should be available on Bell. If you prefer Rogers, The Motorola Razr (The new one, not the flip phone) is a pretty nice-looking device.
RIM is dying [editline]19th December 2011[/editline]
but the thing is i recently Bought an Blackberry Playbook
im so sorry
I recommend getting a Galaxy S II or Galaxy Nexus.
galaxy nexus looks cool it even got a 1280x720 display, I think it's the largest resolution on the market.
I'd say go for a Nexus II, I have a Blackberry and it fucking sucks.
I need a New Phone Its Going to Be Hard
I'm sorry, what?
Which carrier are you on? Bell is the only carrier with the really good new phones. Rogers and Telus got the cripplecom Galaxy S II variants and the Galaxy Nexus is a Bell exclusive. http://www.samsung.com/global/microsite/galaxynote/note/spec.html?type=find
I'm glad Samsung went with 1280x800 for the note. Even though you'll get some black bars when watching "HD" content it'll allow them to use the same firmware across it and their Galaxy Tab devices without having to scale assets like the TW UX widgets once they upgrade them all to ICS.
I'm sorry, what?
I think he wants an indestructible nokia.
I think he wants an indestructible nokia.
Oh, well get a Nokia 3310 then.
Oh, well get a Nokia 3310 then.
Just remember to glue the front and back covers on. Then it'll be able to withstand a 1 megaton explosion.
Nope. http://www.samsung.com/global/microsite/galaxynote/note/spec.html?type=find
but that thing is huge, I see your point. But I would still go for the nexus
Get one of these: Samsung GT-E2121B They're fucking unbreakable. Chucked mine about 20 foot or so in the air and its fine.
but that thing is huge, I see your point. But I would still go for the nexus
pff, buy pants with bigger pockets
My dad has the 9900, I've played around with it and it's really nice, but it's definitely much more business orientated than anything else. Build quality is orgasmic though.
pff, buy pants with bigger pockets
That thing is a little over an inch short of doubling my phone's current screen size. It would be mighty nice for web browsing I will admit.
but that thing is huge, I see your point. But I would still go for the nexus
go for the S2, it's more practical than both
go for the S2, it's more practical than both
Bell will take around three months after Samsung makes the firmware to get 4.0 out to their SGS II, and Rogers and Telus might not ever roll it out at all. With the Galaxy Nexus you get peace of mind knowing that the carriers don't have a say in the updates or software.

Carriers shouldn't be allowed to make software or hardware customizations to phones, only offer them to those who actually really want it.
Why are you talking about Canadian carriers when the OP is in the US?
Idiot. [editline]23rd December 2011[/editline]
Fuck that, root it and flash a community supported ROM on it. Carriers shouldn't be allowed to make software or hardware customizations to phones, only offer them to those who actually really want it.
If the OP was contemplating a Blackberry it's likely he isn't going to want to root his phone and install custom roms. As for carriers being allowed or not, maybe Google shouldn't have prostituted themselves out to OEMs and carriers, then we wouldn't have timescape, touchwiz, sense or motoblur, and updates would come out speedy with no carrier interference.
On my end, it looks very much like the US flag...
Wake up call, Not everyone is English speaking American and the United States is not the "world". Or you don't visit Facepunch enough to know this by now, I have only been registered a month and I already know about it.
I like how even after I show he's wrong he continues to try and show that the OP does live in the US, even though he very clearly doesn't. After 800 posts I would think you would know about the OP always having a US flag. You have to check their recent posts/profile info.
