Do you prefer the M 16 or the AK 47??
Also post why you prefer AK or M 16...
AK, it is bad ass.
AK47, it's just one of them bad-ass weapons.
M16, because it's durable enough.
That and I personally think the AK47 is overrated when it's hard to come by nowadays, even though AK like weapons are easy to get.
AK47 looks much cooler.
M16, AK47 is the greater evil of the 2 generic assault rifles so i pick the one thats not liked as much
AK47 has power, but M16 has both power and aiming, so I go for M16.
By the way, I'm talking about Counter-Strike, never held a gun in real life.
I have no fucking idea which one.
I'll take the AK because Russian weapons are just awesome.

M16, because they don't make their gun outta freakin' wood :B
[sp]Nah, AKs[/sp]
Edit: Apparently no one played Borderlands.
EDIT: Apparently I was wrong.
Needs more AK74, as it is closer to the M16 in function, well, caliber.
I'd prefer a ZM LR300, which is based off the AR-15. Nylatron grips. Comp M4 Aimpoint. Magpul MOE or Tango Down pistol grip. Phantom flash hider. And an early wire folding stock.
Mostly because then I'd have had to be rich to get it, and it would be awesome to be rich.
The Kalashnikov was my first love.
M16.
I think the AK is overrated and I would prefer accuracy instead of fast shooting and a bigger bullet.
That's what she said. :frog:
I don't know, AKs are pretty kick ass.
Early variants of the M16 cost countless lives in Vietnam. While many of the jamming issues have been resolved in the A3 and A4, I wouldn't be able to tell the models apart. If I have to pick a rifle from a table, I'll know that the AK won't get me killed.
AK-47...
Because it's there.

They were solved with the A1.
Also.

That's only because they issued them as 'self-cleaning rifles' and noone cared enough to clean them
I know cleaning is complicated and M16s aren't the most reliable weapons but I'd trust one over an AK-47 just for the sake of actually hitting something at long range.

That must be why Travis Haley of Magpul rocks an AK.
Any AR15 variant. I'll take the smaller round and lessened durability of the gun itself rather than wild inaccuracy past 400 yards.
Also, it's not quite as easy to attach nice little things such as a silencer to the AK.
The AK47 is the obvious answer to this one, it is very durable and reliable, you can run it over, bury it, and it will almost always fire. Plus it has always had a great history, sure it isn't as accurate as the M16, but the AK47 fires a more powerful round.
M16, because it's more practical in a combat situation.
AK47 is just extremely reliable.
i prefer 1887s.. best guns ever made....

Tru dat, nigsauce.
It truly does enable Ramirez to DO EVERYTHING.
I like the M-16 for its weight and accuracy. Having a powerful gun that can turn cinder blocks back to sand is nice and all, but practically I prefer the M-16. Now, if I were in a survival situation, it would be the AK-47 all the way; they're highly durable and reliable.

Probably because the AK isn't designed to take a silencer?
They're both history - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QFvjkNeDF8
Oh joy, another gun thread.
Voted AK.

Very few weapons are. Suppressors are usually designed after the fact. Well, back then, anyways.

An AK47 can shoot down a helicopter from a range of 1km. :/
