So he asked me like 5 days ago to get some parts for a good rig.
Long story short, he changing his mind every 5 second so i decided to go to you facepunch.
It's in sweden and budget is around US $2250 ( Right now $2246( 15 000 swedish kr ) if I convert now.)
He needs no OS. He can get it for cheep because of student discount. He will get windows 7 ultimate for around US $200
He does not need monitor, mouse or keyboard. Just the computer.
So facepunch. Help me before he blows my mind.
Any particular website you think we should use (before everyone links to newegg.com builds)?
That is ONE of the problem. I look at this site http://www.webhallen.com/ and he looks everywhere else. Like
http://www.komplett.se/k/k.aspx http://www.inet.se/ and some other pages I can't remember.
I don't say he must buy from webhallen, that is just the site I use to find stuffs.

No answer? Look at newegg or something and then i can check on the other stores. With the prices i would say MAX US $2000 on newegg.

The guy is looking to spend even more on a prebuilt; might as well give him a righ taht would beat that and yet be cheaper. About the Hitachi I just took that randomly.

Just replace it with your >100$ 1tb HDD of your choice.
Changed mobo.

And if he does not want to pay that much i just cut one 6970

Ninjas

That is a lot more expensive than I paid for mine. Are you sure hes getting it from a legit dealership?

Yep. From something called CSN-card. Every student in sweden gets one, i think.
Changed mobo.

http://www.inet.se/artikel/4303589/1tb-samsung-spinpoint-f3-hd103sj cheaper, faster
http://www.inet.se/artikel/5309986/intel-core-i5-2500k-3-3ghz an i7 will have no advantage worth the cost unless he's doing something like rendering that will use hyperthreading
http://www.inet.se/artikel/6900190/corsair-hx-750w-80- modular, still more than enough for 2 6970s
http://www.inet.se/artikel/5321604/cooler-master-hyper-212-plus overclock the CPU, you've got P67 and a 2500k so there's no reason not to
get one 6970 to start, unless he's playing at some ridiculous res it will be fine, then when he next needs to upgrade grab a second and crossfire them
I shall show him that and see what he says.
