Hi,
Firstly, i do have a car DVD player so i have screens, i also have a Jtag so no worry about scratching disks and the power brick i want to modify is a opus/falcon one. Now, i do not want to buy additional hardware such as a converter but does anyone know a way to actually do this? Or can someone link me some sort of circuit diagram for the power brick? All help appreciated.
Well the console needs 12V and 5V(Standby)

This circuit can provide 12V@5A given the correct heatsink. (You might want to build a forth 12V Reg circuit and run some computer fans off it to cool the lot down)
So you will need one for each of the three 12V inputs (Console needs 14.6A on 12V)

Then provide it with 5V from this circuit. (Which gets supplied from one of the above 12V outputs!)

Run the whole thing from the car battery with a fuse inline! (I would guess a 20A fuse) and a switch.
Pretty simple gven the console only needs 2 voltages one being the voltage most vehicles already have. (The regulator is to cope with the spikes in voltage the car's electrical system can have.)
Wll be more efficient than stepping the car voltage up to hundreds of volts and back down to 12+5 again with an inverter.
If you can't figure it out from this then you are better off just buying something :)
Thank you so much
Definitely going to try this on my spare xbox to make it mobile.
