Hey, i dunno where else to put this atm but here is:
my Gigabyte pc overheated and wont switch on again.
how this happened is that dust had collected inside my pc and trapped the heat. i carefully cleaned out most of the dust, but now my PC doesnt switch on. There is power in the computer but it doesnt start, there is a little buzz the 1st time i press the button when i plug it in, so im guess it was damaged by the heat.
ITS FIXED
H&S section.

English teachers do, and so does the world of business.

Obviously you've never been in a Internet argument before then. If the opposing party starts mis-spelling their argument or making no grammatical sense, then their argument becomes less and less credible until the point you can claim victory as they are proving their stupidity.
Fucking retard '09ers.

I hope you did not clean out your PC with a vacuum cleaner.
Static electricity can ruin your pc.

Shaddap.
What does a gigabyte computer mean?
I think it is a computer with only one gig of space on the hard drive.

I clean my PC out with a vacuum, nothings gone wrong as of yet, I don't slam the nozzles into the components mind you, and they are all plastic nozzles, and I only really hover above the heatsinks/ motherboard to catch massive lumps of dust.

R.I.P.
Ever been on a plastic slide when you where a kid?(like at MC donalds or something)
You get shocked by the plastic. Plastic conducts Static electricity and static electricity for a chip is the same as what a thunderstrike is to you.
You WILL break your pc this way.
If you don't believe me google it!
Use pressurised air or remove the heat sinks when you clean them.

My PC is not broken
It must be a gift from god then.
I think static electricity is the culprit here..

Who are you?
Who are you?
My PC isn't broken either, and neither are the PCs of anyone I've cleaned, or anyone I know who has cleaned it out with a vacuum, putting your theory out of the window. If you are dumb enough to jab parts with the nozzle, then you deserve it to break, but just lightly hovering it over highly dusty areas should be perfectly safe.
