Having strange problems/freezes on a newly bought Acer Aspire 5750G-2676G50MN

I have bought the Acer Aspire 5750G-2676G50MN yesterday, and I'm already getting weird freezes on it.
It doesn't matter what I'm doing, it just happens.
Let me try to explain the problem, every 5-10 minutes the computer freezes (Mouse keyboard etc) and loops the audio in a robotic/terraria tnt explosion sound for about 3 seconds.
I have the latest Nvidia driver for the 540m, so that can't be a problem(Happened before and after updating).
The laptop has the following specs.
Intel® Core™ i7 processor 2670QM (2.2GHz, 3.1GHz Turbo, 6MB L3 cache)
Microsoft® Windows® 7 Home Premium 64bits
6GB DDR3 RAM (1x4GB+1x2GB), 500GB HDD (5400rpm)
NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 540M 1GB DDR3 supporting PhysX™
Should I return the laptop to the shop, or is there a easy fix?
If you literally just got it, it's a hardware defect. I'd assume either a hard drive or RAM problem, with RAM being the most likely suspect. Return it. Freezing problems are annoying as there can be many causes.

Yes I got it yesterday, from a normal retailer.
The only thing I've did to is is install Java, Minecraft, League of Legends and the normal Skype MSN and Steam.

I just had another freeze, and I had task manager open and found out that the proccesor would skyrocket when it freezes.

Could be a motherboard problem as well then. Just return it, you'll save yourself a huge headache.

Do you know if I get a new one, or are they going to repair it?
Because I will need it soon for college aswelll.
Ask to get it replaced instead of repaired, I guess.
So there are no possible fixes I could do myself.
Goddamnit, thinking I have a nice laptop getting problems on the first day.

If you can just get a new one, that would be preferable as it would save you time.
I googled your laptop, it seems like more people having problems with acer laptops.
Did you try taking the battery out?
Or maybe even updating the BIOS, who knows.
I'm going to the store in about 30 minutes to see what bullshit they're trying to sell me, if they don't want to replace it with a new one I'm just going to ask my money back.
Maybe it just has a ridiculous amount of bloatware on it? Try a fresh install of Windows

I did install windows fresh yesterday, there isn't any shit on it.

There's no way it's software related since you just got it. It could be any number of hardware problems, which is why it's better just to return it and demand a replacement.
Acer officially does not have a DOA period, so not all retailers will swap the laptop instantly, where did you buy it?
I just got mine swapped, let's hope this one works better.
The guy working there was quite a nice guy.

New laptop, same FUCKING PROBLEMS.
Ok, I think I've fixed it for good now.
I've installed over 50 windows updates, and so far so good (Around half an hour good).
What the helicopter. If this is faulty as well, I hope you can get a refund.

I fixed it so far by motherfucking WINDOWS UPDATES.
How can such a simple thing as that fix a problem like this?
And how can they even miss such a thing at Acer?

I have no clue at all.
Maybe it's just a "faulty" batch or whatever.
And the problems are back, so the updates didn't fix it.
I'm returning it and getting my money back.
Wow, two defective in a row. Never buy an Acer again.

You can't base the reliability of a whole brand just down to a couple of dodgy laptops.
Most likely just a bad batch.

No. I love acer. The acer products I have had have all worked well except for the usual signs of age. All brands make missteps.

And why can't I? If I was in the OP's situation where I got two defective laptops in a row, I'd never buy Acer again. Unless there was a situation later on where it was THE BEST I could get for a significantly lower price than other brands.
When I buy something, I expect it to work.
