great, im gay for brt now On a serious note, i'm not sure if something that merely changes the color profile of your monitor is worth what you're paying though.
Well that profile is going to be different for every monitor even within the same line. I needed a very accurate sRGB monitor profile for my photos for this recent photography job. It's worth it... if you have a use for it. [editline]7th December 2012[/editline] The profile it created is much better than the one that ships with the monitor. And it's made a giant difference in my pictures. Though I did fine without it for my own hobbyist work.
Last time I used one of those it turned my screen purple. Should have used Teracrest, etc. Great couple of videos. Wish I had time to watch them all in full before work.

Yea, and screens do change over time. I plan to calibrate roughly once a month. It recommends every week, but comon.

Maybe they'll package monitors with nice calibration devices.
That actually looked like a pretty nifty device Until I saw the pricetag :v: Great video as usual. [editline]7th December 2012[/editline] It also sadly has no Linux support (yet?) but oh well, what can you do.
I've been using a Datacolor Spyder3Elite for over three years now, works fantastically with calibrating all my separate displays to a uniform quality. It does a much better job than you could do by hand.
Considering my monitor only has On/Off, Up Backlight, Down backlight, and source, it's much better than by hand :p [editline]7th December 2012[/editline] Also, I managed to add in my new profile into Firefox so my browsing is properly in sRGB and perfectly toned.
