But it's Gearbox so obviously they ruined it and made it a point and click adventure game starring everyone's favorite Call of Duty characters and are using the money they make off of it to fund child trafficking rings.
Also I got this for free so that's neat.

I said this in the other thread but whatever.
I'm very skeptical of Gearbox being able to recreate what made Homeworld special, but I remain cautiously optimistic. It's mostly a non-issue though considering they're also re-releasing the original untouched games. So that's always an option in case they screw it up.
It's a little unclear just how much they're modifying the game. If there's some place with more information that'd be great. It sounds like it's more than just a graphical overhaul and that makes me very wary.
I looked up on the Gearbox forum to see what kind of "input we've received from fans, mod-makers, and series veterans" they've been getting.

I really hope they aren't listening too much to these people. There's way too many suggestions have no place in a Homeworld game and would change things too much and require Gearbox to make new things for the game on their own.
I'm definitely going to get this, I really enjoyed what I could play of Homeworld 2, but it didn't and doesn't work on my computer because of issues with hardware.
I'll definitely get these, Homeworld is great. I'm not too sure about Gearbox actually changing things with the remastered versions, though. I'd prefer them just being a HD version of the original games.
