Sorry if this is the wrong section, but I could use some help here.
I've got my 360 set up in my basement, where I keep all my consoles. The problem is that it sometimes just doesn't want to load disks. It's the "Open Tray" glitch. Thing is that it has something to do with the power supply. It happened when I got the console, but stopped when I changed the power supply. Any suggestions?
I've been wondering if it has something to do with a pump I have set up in the basement. I have a bigass pump there because the basement tends to flood during heavy-duty storms, and both times it stopped working, it was raining outside. Think it has something to do with that?
If the basement tends to flood, then why do you put hundreds of dollars of equipment down there?
Seriously.
if it says Open Tray then the problem lies with your disk drive. I had mine replaced and have had no problems since.

Your problem could be caused by dihydrogen monoxide within the console itself.

Forgot to mention that I have a refurbished console.
I'm all but certain it's a problem with the power supply. Any tips?

Why would it be the power??
Xbox: I have too much power! Open disc tray or else I will overload!
or
Xbox: I have too little power! Open the disc tray!?
Sorry, no tips... not a 360 user...
Replace your DVD drive with a BenQ or Liteon model will resolve this issue. Hitachi brand DVD drives are known to cause issues.
Happens to me from time to time. You just need to clean the lens.
