So I need to get a new motherboard but currently don't have the resources to upgrade all the related gear (CPU, ram, etc). Basically, I need something that will be able to run a Core2duo E6600 but will still be able to upgrade to a quad core when I get the money. If possible, something that will run DDR2 ram as that's what I currently have (side question: is it possible for a MB to be compatible with both DDR2+DDR3? Obviously not being used at the same time but just being compatible with both types of ram).
So yeah, the following must be met:
Able to run a C2D E6600 but also able to run a quad core
At least one PCIe 2.0 slot
DDR2 ram friendly would be nice
Price range is roughly 120$
Edit: Also, even though I'm currently using intel, if it would be a better future investment to get an AMD mobo + Quad, I could wait on the motherboard and get them together in the near future, so feel free to bring that up.
Edit2: Ok, so I was looking around and came up with this: https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.aspx?ID=19807307
I wouldn't be getting it right now as I don't have the immediate resources, but would this build work for a while? Also what of AMD Phenom IIs vs Intel quads?

I have one, it's pretty damn good. If you want to go AMD, get this.

Biostar is so terrible. Friend had one and arrived DOA, next one died withing a week and then the next one arrived DOA to. He got a refund and paid extra for a Gigabyte.
