Goddamn Russia gets a new halo before us.
Cyka Blyat.
How can anyone explain this weird decision?
How can anyone explain this weird decision?
russians dont buy games, so they aint buyin consoles... release f2p halo with microtransaction bullshit and get money
that's it guys we lost the cold war
russians dont buy games, so they aint buyin consoles... release f2p halo with microtransaction bullshit and get money
But people would also play it everywhere else and use microtransactions too..
It’s a free-to-play multiplayer-only variant, based on the Halo 3 engine.
Welp :v:
First, Microsoft gives China Windows 10 for free, now Russia gets a new halo? Sounds like Bill Gates is a commy bastard.
Halo 3 engine, huh. Wonder if anyone could get Halo 3 running in it. I remember Halo 1's engine pretty much containing everything in the maps :v:
Welp :v:
It's badly translated but..
The game will include special packages and abilities: fighting, safety and support. The system is similar to the perks Call of Duty. Characters have levels, but what is the maximum – not reported Maps are designed specifically for Halo Online, while designed for 16 people. During the entrance to the card players get a job: to kill the head, jump 10 times, and so. On the map you can find different weapons: Bazooka example, which replaces the pistol slot. During the spawn, you can change the class and weapons After the murder of cards with the player who killed you There are attacks from the back Saber Interactive engaged in the development The game is focused on Russia and the CIS, is not excluded release in Europe For classes have 5 slots. Two is available immediately, and the rest are opened as pumping On the maps, there are two so-called powerfull-arms on the map: grenade, for example Weapons are purchased at a time, all armor The game has a lobby system, where you can gather with friends and fight with them The game runs on a reworked engine of Halo 3 When the gun lying on the floor, it has an aura: green – accuracy, red – Done. This is done to ensure that the player is not standing and reading characteristics of the weapons – which is better or worse The game is currently melenkie card without technology, but in the future will be added to the large appliances. Each piece of armor has its own parameters: speed of movement on the shoes or gloves at the rate of recharge The plot and PVE mission has not been considered The game currently supports only one language – Russian. Will map where the battle will go on the territory of Russia
It uses Halo 3's engine, gameplay and assets from Halo 4, and even further apes Call of Duty while slapping in stat systems because F2P. Just from these details alone it sounds pretty much like an unholy abomination.
we want to do more for pc gaming
if this is the halo you think pc gamers deserve, you can fuck off microsoft. A shitty f2p halo COD clone is NOT what halo is about.
But people would also play it everywhere else and use microtransactions too..
but people in other places are whiny children when it comes to microtransactions whereas russians generally dont give a shit

If this happened, it'd still be faster than Microsoft.

Woah Halo 3 engine, maybe some smart alics could port the real Halo 3 on top of whatever this f2p hoax will come to be.
Woah Halo 3 engine, maybe some smart alics could port the real Halo 3 on top of whatever this f2p hoax will come to be.
All we need are some files to work off, anything will do; hypes real.
In 10 years hopefully we will be able to emulate 360 at full speed
considering we still cant emulate the original xbox at a decent speed let alone with wide compatability, i doubt that will happen.
Just give us Halo PC you knuckledraggers. Nobody wants a fucking Xbone.
considering we still cant emulate the original xbox at a decent speed let alone with wide compatability, i doubt that will happen.
If I recall correctly, the original xbox had a lot of proprietary shit that makes emulating it a daunting task considering it was actually kind of powerful - whereas the 360 is a lot closer to your standard PC in terms of software AND hardware, making emulation significantly less difficult.. though obviously, still challenging, seeing as how the emulators that DO exist still aren't very developed. Correct me if I'm wrong, please, if anyone else is more knowledgeable about this.
Isn't XBOX mostly just a pc in a box?
There's a lot of factors determining how hard it is to run a program designed for one scenario on another -is it a different architecture? -is it a different operating system? -how severe is the difference between said systems? I mean even just emulating windows programs on the exact same computer with a different operating system has a lot of challenges (see: emulating windows programs on linux). If it's on another architecture you need a computer orders of magnitudes more powerful to deal with that (see: even emulating a PS2 today is taxing on computers that blow it out of the water performance-wise). If a console has the same architecture as a standard x86/x64 PC it'll be much easier to emulate but there will still be a lot of challenges. I mean if the Xbox one is just running windows 8 with a UI theme that's another matter, but we're not likely to be that lucky.
Fuck, release Halo 3, Reach, ODST, etc. for PC and I'll be satisfied forever.
Now it is our turn to infest Russian servers and scream at them obscenities in languages they don't understand.
Halo 3 finally (technically) comes to PC and it's exclusive to Russia? I figured a bigger outcry.
It's time for our revenge. Until now, it's always been Russians flooding into our servers, spamming chat with their cyka blyats and ruining our matches with their horrible pings. But now, it's our turn.

-snip-
doubtful, its going to be a f2p game with assets and gameplay by 343, all published by a company known for its terrible f2p practices in russia
True.
