I'm gettin my new pc setup that looks like this:
-Intel Core i5-3570k
-MB ASUS Chipset Intel B75 SK1155 2xDDR3/DVI mATX-P8B75-M LX
-DIMM KINGSTON 8GB DDR3 1600
Now i have to choose between VGA ASUS GT630 2GB DDR3 DVI/HDMI or VGA ASUS RADEON HD6670 1GbDDR5/DVI/HDMI PCIE2.1.
The problem is that i have no idea what's the difference between them, the only thing i see is the 2GB and 1GB.
I'll be using alot of Cinema 4D (3D animation) and some games (nothing serious). I would like to know which of these cards will be better for the 3D animation (render times, quality, etc...)
If you think this setup is shit and you have a better choice for me, just say it (but it shouldn't be +/- 20$)
P.S. Sorry for my english, it's not my native language.
The HD 6670 is faster, and you won't need the extra gigabyte of memory
A general rule of thumb is that you don't need to worry about GPU memory unless you'll be gaming on multiple monitors (Eyefinity, nvidia surround, etc). Memory could also be important for some niched animation, but 4D Cin isn't one of them.
You already posted a thread in the H&S - GD. Ask a mod to move it here instead of creating a new one. Or was it the other way around - either way, just bump the other one.
