I've currently got a Core2Quad @2.4 with a ATi 2600XT, and I'm looking to upgrade the graphics.
Problem is, my budget is fairly limited, and ideally I need to spend around the £100 mark (probably 9800GT, 8800GT range). Anyone got any ideas?
Also, needs to be from somewhere I can get next day delivery (overclockers, otherwise) or retail (PCWerld :vomit:).

Dell [b]yes, I know it's a dell desktop[/b], but the processor is a Core2Quad compared to my old Athlon 64 x1 - and the PSU is LiteON (but it'd be a bitch to take out). If the wattage on this one is too low, I'll have to upgrade the CPU and GFX in my homebuild.

If no, go for a 4770.

In the dell yes, but in the build it's a AMD Athlon 64 @ 2.6 (AM2 - not AM2+)

My current rig is a Dell (core2quad), which is the one I enquired about in the first place. My older build is the Athlon 2.6, with a 7600GT (I moved to the dell for the multicoring). What I asked for is an opinion if it would be a better idea to strip the Athlon, and build with a new mobo, cpu, and gpu.
I'm so confused.

A Q6600 is fine.
Get the ati 4770 for the dell, and for the am2 build I would say buy a dual core am2 cpu and that will be a good 2nd pc:buddy:
