Hey guys my PSU got damaged in a Power Surge, guess i've learned the hard way.
My PC is a Dell XPS420 (Oh boy here we go)
From what i can see on the PSU info:
Input - 100-240V 7A
DC output - 425W
I'm looking for a similar PSU or Perhaps a 500W~ PSU that would work.
It would be handy if you guys could help point one out from This site, it's local.
Thanks guys, if you need any more info on the current PSU i'll put it up for you, i got no knowledge of PSUs whatsoever, but i know what i'm doing once i get the Parts.
You have to be careful with Dells, sometimes other PSU's won't fit into the case at all. Make sure to check beforehand.
i have an overclockers value one, 650w.
has lasted longer than the ocz one i had at half the price.

To clarify, get one that has BTX form factor compatability in some way, shape, or form, as that's the form factor that Dells use.
I have gotten ATX PSUs to work in the past.

i have an XPS 420. I bought a Coolmax 600w PSU and it fit perfectly, had all the right connectors except one, and it's a $2 cable. The one that changes

to

it's literally a $2 cable.

That should be okay. the XPS can fit gigantic goddamn power supplies, i still have a couple inches left. If you have any questions, PM me, I can walk you through installation and stuff. Not saying you don't know how to do it, I just have an XPS420 and know everything about it.
The space should be big enough, but the screw holes may not be in the right places. It's perfectly possible to drill your own though
