• How to know if a video card is compatible with a processor?

I'm getting a new video card, a 9800 GT, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with my processor, and intel core duo 2 @ 2.13 GHz. I don't really know how video cards and processors work with eachother. I've tried googling and can't find any searches.
There are no compatibility issues between GPUs and CPUs. What you really need to know is whether or not your Motherboard has a PCI-Express x16 slot.
Its because, 99% of the time, Today's video cards will work with today's processors. The only limit, is (Even thou this his highly unlikely), whether or not the motherboard has a PCI-E slot. (Also, bottlenecking) Dr Nick is so stealthy.
haha, wow. Yes as it has been said, the GPU and CPU won't be an issue. It's the motherboard.

Its the one on the left: Your CPU is a Core 2 Duo, your motherboard should almost certainly have PCI-E. The real question is, what wattage is your power supply?
