RESOLVED
I decided to install Windows 7 RTM today, the installation crashed a few times, and when it finally installed I couldn't get past the "Welcome" screen because of a crash that could only be fixed with a reboot. I said "fuck it,I'll just buy it when it comes out",reformatted and proceeded to install Vista again-crashed at one point of installation but went fine from that point.
Then it gets weird.
It crashed just after the desktop appeared,I restarted, crashed twice when trying to disable UAC and it keeps doing that ever since.
When it crashes, any sound that was playing at that time loops, when there was no sound it's either quiet or a loud crackling and popping coming out of my speakers, and my G15 keyboard backlight goes off.
I did an antivirus scan, tried with just one RAM stick and it's still happening - sometimes after hours and sometimes crashes at the Welcome screen.
I built this PC myself and it has been running for 7 months without any problems.
Specs:
Asus P5QC motherboard
2x2GB 1333MHz Kingston RAM
nVidia GTX280
Two Samsung 500GB HDDs
700W PSU OCZ Stealth X Stream
Core 2 Quad Q9400 2,66 GHz
Please help :(

And all temperatures in HWMonitor are under 50 C
Run memtest and see if that brings anything up
Memtest86 ran from a bootable CD restarts the pc (or crashes) at 47% Address scan.
I get it as my RAM is the problem?
I hope so, as it should still be on the warranty and is easy to replace.

Doing Memtest now with just one stick, first one is fine.

According to Memtest86 both sticks are fine

Yet it still crashes :(

I have updated my BIOS from 1004 I think to 2103 and it seems stable so far.
I hope it stays that way.
