Nearly two months after upgrading to windows 10 my network is now on an "unidentified network" and "no internet" My drivers are up to date and it is protocoled to get the ip and design automatically but my network is "public" even though it's my home. also my ethernet cable is groundwire connected to the router not direct connection.
Open CMD as admin: netsh winsock reset ipconfig /flushdns Edit: wait W10 phone? No idea. (Idiot did not read)

We're going to need some clarification here. You talk about your Windows 10 phone, but then you go on about your ethernet cable? Exactly what device is having issues. [editline]5th September 2016[/editline] Ah, okay. Follow his steps, and report back. Take a screenshot/picture if you can.
I just realised auto correct turned network to phone [editline]5th September 2016[/editline] Did those steps successfully and after the reset nothing changed [editline]5th September 2016[/editline] I even did it twice
Wait so your cable is running through the walls or something else? If so that could be the issue as the cable is damaged or some other issue Try directly connecting your pc to the router with a different Ethernet cable
