By the way, wtf is iPod Touch 3GS? [editline]03:37PM[/editline] And there's no such thing as iPhone 2
4th gen ipod touch [editline]03:39PM[/editline]
By the way, wtf is iPod Touch 3GS? [editline]03:37PM[/editline] And there's no such thing as iPhone 2
iphone 2 is iphone 3G, basically. because of both that and the fact that the 3GS is worlds better than the regular 3G, they should be separate. [editline]03:40PM[/editline] same goes for the ipod touch the 2nd gen ipod touch is the touch counterpart of the iphone 3g, both of them are 2nd generation [editline]03:44PM[/editline] options should be more like this to eliminate confusion iPhone 4 (4th Gen/newest) iPhone 3GS (3rd Gen) iPhone 3G (2nd Gen) iPhone (1st Gen/oldest) iPod Touch 4th Gen (newest) iPod Touch 3rd Gen iPod Touch 2nd Gen iPod Touch 1st Gen (oldest)
iPod Touch 3GS here.
By the way, wtf is iPod Touch 3GS?
It's a 3rd Gen 32 or 64GB iPod Touch. The 3G stands for third generation, and the S stands for speed.
no, 3GS is 100% separate from iPod Touch, there is not 3GS iPod Touch. 3G on the iPhone is 3G data, and so the iPhone 3G was the first one to have 3G data. it was also the 2nd generation, but with 3rd generation data. the 3GS, however, is the 3rd generation iPhone and the S does indeed stand for speed. when people say "iPod Touch 3GS" they're somehow in their own minds referring to the 3rd gen iPod Touch. in this case, it's not called the 3GS and there isn't any 3G iPod Touch anything because they do not sport cellular radio ie 3G data. here's a quick little chart on iPhone <-> iPod Touch versions to clear things up, only with the real names. 1st generation: iPhone <-------> iPod Touch 2nd generation: iPhone 3G <---> iPod Touch 3rd generation: iPhone 3GS <--> iPod Touch 4th generation: iPhone 4 <-----> iPod Touch surely you see a pattern here: all iPod Touches, regardless of generation and what iPhone came out, are officially referred to as just iPod Touch
iPhone 3G S and iPod touch 3G
I have my brother's old iPhone 3G, conveniently disguised as a iPod Touch. I can't use it as a phone...
I have my brother's old iPhone 3G, conveniently disguised as a iPod Touch. I can't use it as a phone...
why
why
My parents think it's a waste for me to have an iPhone considering how much we spend on monthly bills already.
iPhone 4 here
First-gen iPod Touch. I already have a phone. ...and I don't need my iPod to share a battery with my phone, that would drain it too quickly.
