My friend had a 9800 GT EE that he was never going to use so I traded him my 9500 GT, did I do good and is the 9800 GT EE any faster then the 9500 GT? Cause I feel like I only got like a 5 FPS increase.
9800GT is faster than a 9500GT, but not by any significant margin. You won't notice any huge performance gains.
Oh well, it was a good trade I guess.
Yeah you gain about 300 worth of performance.
300 graphics points redeemable in any DirectX or openGL 3D program

You dun' good.
The 9800 GT is a good deal better than the 9500 GT - not GTX 680 like, but it's a pretty big improvement. What's your specs? You might have a bottleneck somewhere.
I've got an AMD athlon x2 5000+, 250w PSU 2 gigs of DDR2. Also this is the EE version which stands for energy efficient, Its not as powerful as the one with the 6 pin plug. I can at least run BFBC2 on medium at 30 frames compared to low at 30 frames now.

Sadly I can't, I'm running an ITX build. I'm getting a job so I will be getting a whole new build soon.
Good luck with your new job.
Thanks, hoping to get at least $700 by the 2nd week of july.
Sadly I can't, I'm running an ITX build. I'm getting a job so I will be getting a whole new build soon.
I've had a mITX build before and the PSU is the same as the one in my current build, what's the problem?
I have a shuttle and it has this kind of PSU http://i00.i.aliimg.com/photo/v0/357042716/Standard_MINI_ITX_Power_Supply_110VAC_220VAC.jpg
I've had a mITX build before and the PSU is the same as the one in my current build, what's the problem?
Yeah, not all ITX/uATX cases use standardized PSUs. Many use proprietary PSUs that are only manufactured in one or two wattage ratings (usually well below 300W) and either cost a fortune to replace, or replacements simply don't exist. Shuttle is notorious for using proprietary PSUs.

I've got more powerful dualcore than you and a 4850 and I only manage about 40fps in multiplayer regardless of graphics settings.
Well I'm perfectly happy with it, also I intalled the drivers cause I didn't have any because I forgot to re install :suicide: my mind is blown by the fact I can run it on high settings with x4 msaa and x4 whatever the fuck its called and go no lower than 23 frames when someone shoots a smoke grenade or an explosion happens.
