[SUB][sp]Don't start yelling at me for the Anime UTAU thingy, I've given up when I found out that the sounds barely were even actual voices. And the only thing it has to do with the glitch is that it's sounds turn off sometimes, along with Winamp's[/sp][/SUB]
I think this may have to do with either Vidro or a apparently new type of virus I got and got rid of (Alright a professional got rid of it).
Windows also starts making error sounds at random times, and something called "Malicious Toolkit Activity" just popped up on Norton.
show us your specs and send me the logs of a malware scan youve done
[editline]19th June 2013[/editline]
and your taskmanager processes list
Here's the processes

How do I find my computer specs?
And exactly what do you mean by "logs of a malware scan youve done"?
Also, I just remembered, files pasted onto windows don't show up until I press back and open the folder again.
Nortion just randomly went into silent mode for a few seconds.
You need to use the URL from the download link on DA (or right click and "open image in new tab") to show images.
Also, fyi, norton sucks.

any malware scanner will make a log of the scan, upload it somewhere. to find your specs use a program called speccy

do you have any logs from a recent antivirus scan?
You need an AV other than Norton, Norton is garbage. Avast! and Avira are free AVs that are very good.

You have 4 GB of RAM and 2 GB video card on Windows XP 32 bit? I suggest upgrading to Windows 7 because you're losing use of half of your system memory.
Yeah, why the fuck are you still on XP
Sounds like malware screwing stuff up. Try scanning with malwarebytes.
Alternatively upgrade to Windows 7 64-bit as your computer is practically held back by XP. (reinstall would definantly get rid of the problem.)
Maybe it's trying to tell you that the windows XP fisher price theme looks horrible and even classic looks better.
You REALLY need to upgrade to Windows 7, XP is getting more and more unstable overtime
and gets so many imcompabilities right now, although my entire school still runs Windows XP
without any flaw. Your computer's performance is sufficient to run Windows 7.
Also worth mentioning that Norton is dropping support for XP, although thats not helping solve the current problem just a fair heads up.
If you have multiple virus protection software running, they don't get along with each other well.

Uh, XP is perfectly stable when treated right (like any OS), It's just old as shit.
[QUOTE=Merijnwitje;41109069]You REALLY need to upgrade to Windows 7, XP is getting more and more unstable overtime[/QUOTE]
It doesn't get more unstable over time, it's just less stuff supports it. It's still a good OS if you have older hardware that won't work with Windows 7, or is too slow with it. That isn't true for the OPs case however.

Schools run a specific OS for a long period of time because they build a spec around it and spend a ton of time testing it to ensure that the platform is stable. They'll keep it until their service contract runs out and then roll out a new spec to replace the old one. The cycle takes years and years so they save money wherever possible.
All of my usernames (Facepunch, Google, Youtube, dA) just vanished, and I had to reset my password.

What in the world are you talking about? Why do you THINK your computer doesn't support Windows 7?
It WILL support it with NO doubt.
anything supports win7, don't be stupid and just upgrade
My sister had Windows 7.
According to her, it always lagged, but I'd probaly say it worked about 1/4 the time, 2/4ths of the time everything would lag, and the last 1/4th it was frozen.
I don't really want to be getting something that lags like [a computer simulated] hell.

Then her computer is simply a Pentium 3 system with a 40GB hard drive, no wonder why.
Or she had a bunch of bloatware, gameboosteres and other rubbish installed.

Pentium 3? That's not the problem, the second part must be

[sp]keep in mind, this isn't a good P3, there are even 850mhz laptops[/sp]
Hell, I managed to stably overclock a desktop PIII to ~600mhz when I was 9.
Those things were stupidly easy to overclock.
To stay on topic, scan with malwarebytes, post logs, if that doesn't work upgrade to win7.
Your system is obviously in a nasty state of being hosed.
Yes I know it sucks but I guess you could kill two birds here on one stone by reinstalling and going 7.
Or win8 for that matter

My dad found a virus.
The internet hasn't died but my monitor did after loading Saints Row The Third, so I don't think that did anything.
I didn't even know Saints Row 3 would run on XP
DX9 version would, wouldn't it?

Well I could help if I had the logs. I can't do anything if I don't know what im actually fighting against.
