Okay so I'm looking at upgrading my computer.
My budget is 200 however I suffer with really bad heating problems. When I'm in a game such as TF2 my CPU temp goes up to around 80c and my GPU goes to around 90c. Proof here:

I'm mainly looking at upgrading my RAM or GPU but I seriously need to solve my heating problems first.
My PC specs here:
RAM: 2 x 1GB sticks
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT 512MB
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU @ 2.40GHz
Heatsink: Randome heatsink with 2000RPM
HDD: 500GB Partitioned, not really looking into buying a new one.
Motherboard: Asus P5KPL-AM
PSU: 500 watts, if you want me to get the model then I will.
Please be aware that my budget is only £200.
When was the last time you cleaned dust from your computer?
Also make sure there is decent airflow around the case

I stripped my PC and cleaned it out completely about 4-5 weeks ago.
It's probably worth reseating, or getting a new, heat sink
As for upgrades get your self 2x2GB sticks of RAM and a GTX 460, that should be under £200
That CPU is asking to be overclocked, but you can't do that with temps like that. So get these
Case:http://www.scan.co.uk/products/antec-300-three-hundred-black-midi-tower-ultimate-gaming-case-w-o-psu
CPU cooler:http://www.scan.co.uk/products/coolermaster-hyper-212-plus-4-heat-pipes-lga775-1156-1366-am2-am2plus-am3
The next thing I'd upgrade is your GPU

If you're not going to OC then just do as the above says and get this ram with the GPU(although there still should be enough to put towards a new case)

Would it be fine with my 500 watt PSU?
Would this GPU be good enough?

Can you give the model of the PSU? I wasn't really thinking about it to be honest, you may want to replace it if you want a 460

No, I think even terrorists have higher standards.
Suggestions for a new PSU?
I would get some thermal compound and use it when you remove, clean, and reinstall the original heatsink/fan.
First, this is the cheapest thing you could do for now. Second, you should solve your CPU heating issue before spending more money. Yeah you could buy a new heatsink/fan combo but what if you don't even need one?
I wouldn't worry about the GPU at this point, you will eventually get a new one anyways.
