I mean yeah, while these are awesome games and stuff, I feel like their game choices should have more to do with speedrunning. Like Super Meat Boy or something

Shadow Warrior, Speedrunners, Oddworld, and Volgarr are not on there, in fact I'm not sure if anyone of them have ever been featured on a Games Done Quick event before. Hopefully when they add more games it's more reflective of what the bundle is representing.

Anyone have the full "Save the animals" Samus art from the top banner?

It's a race through the levels and that's it, but it's an extremely specific order. Whilst in other games you can skip entire segmants through some insane stuff that was never intended to be exploited. [editline]4th January 2015[/editline] I mean it's a REALLY hard game but it's all muscle memory it's way more interesting to see a game that's a lot more than just muscle memory and timing alone

There's a bug that'd allow you to abuse warpzones to basically skip the entire game. The game itself is set up for straight-up speedrunning, but that's an expectation. The sequence breaking in real-time is something phenomenal and entertaining to behold. Even using the warpzone sequence breaking bug, it's not entirely impressive to watch as there's not as much specific timing to work around or physics to warp. Contrast with say a real-time OoT speedrun where the timing on the sequence breaks and moving around in general are more technical than what the game demands of a player in the first place.

Here's one of the previous SMB speedruns from AGDQ. Team Meat shows up at around 50 minutes to talk about stuff and they do mention a few things about speedrunning.
Anybody remember how they coded Snake and Pong into Super Mario World with TASbot last year? This year they coded Super Mario Brothers into it, then used TASbot and a Pokemon game to recode a GBA to display Twitch chat. Complete with emotes and everything.
