Need a quick answer, off out today but wondered if I should just get a 560ti today and another next month to SLI (which of course requires me to buy a new motherboard/maybe PSU) or do I spend the extra £100 now for just one 570?
My specs:
i5 2500 3.3ghz
4gb DDR 3 RAM
GX650w Coolermaster

Nevermind, answered my own question. Apparently a 560ti overclocked can pretty much match the 570. Saves me £100.
Wat. You have some pretty fail logic.
You want to avoid paying 100 pounds more for a card and instead opt to perform invasive surgery on your machine by replacing the motherboard (more money) and possibly the PSU (even more money). Then have to reinstall Windows and risk things not working.
That's like up to a several day headache just for SLI.

Early in the morning for me heh, I'm fine with one to be honest now. Just installed the card.
Also, the fan noise isn't annoying, but it's not quiet. It sounds like my old 5770, but I have a feeling it could be my Xonar DX card sat in front of it? As it's right in the fan, not blocking it off though. I'm assuming this due to the fan sound being the same.
I suppose a new motherboard may help, one with 2 16x PCI-E slots, so I can then put the sound card behind and give the card more air flow so the sound isn't reflecting off my sound card (irony!)
