If it's going to be an actual game I really hope it's going to be made by the same people that did HR.
And please don't let this be another mobile game.

Someone in the other thread said it was another book, but he didn't provide a source so who knows.
“I want to leave you with a piece of concept art from our next-gen Deus Ex game
ya
Let's hope this one doesn't suck like The Fall. If it's on the level of Human Revolution then we're in safe-ish hands, but they still need to give us proper melee combat. I've said this a thousand times, but even kung fu would be adequate so long as we actually fight with it rather than knock people out with cutscenes at the cost of a battery. That said, I wouldn't say no to a Dragon's Tooth or some sort of High Frequency Blade like they have in the Metal Gear games.
I hope this isn't a bloody mobile game.
Melee weapons was a big complaint with DXHR, so I think we may see them in the next DX.
So were boss fights, but the Missing Link DLC showed us that they can make slightly better done boss fights (ie: actually building up the boss character beforehand, giving you various reasons for actually disliking/hating them, rather than just showing them once at the start and then just throwing you in a room with them)
The Fall didn't suck though
unless you're ratting on it just because it was a mobile game
Yes it did.
mankinds gonna be divided over whether this games good or not
Yes it did.
uh it was really fucking good actually, pretty high quality for a mobile game.

for a mobile game, maybe.
for a pc game, not at all.
Deus Ex: The Fall is everything a Deus Ex game isn't. It's very linear, you can buy ammo at any time from a menu, it has a terrible forced tutorial which constantly takes away your control.

It actually was better made on mobile. Way less buggy.
Shouldn't of been ported as is though, it is way too linear, even on mobile. If I can play San Andreas, The Fall has no excuse.
They fired most of the people who worked on HR so what you'd get is a game from the same geniuses behind Thief the reboot

No they didn't.
Coming soon: Deus Ex: Did you try turning it off then on?
No they didn't.
I've read about a bunch of people who've left or been laid off but I can't find a source. I know I've read it on this forum.

Exactly.
Its shit, its just the king of shit.

That was a few managers/senior staff who didn't like Square Enix.
That wasn't the entire DX:HR development team.

Every time a game is finished a number of the development team are 'fired', but those guys are freelance developers who move between studios and work on a per game contract.
