What I'm looking for is a simple program where there's just a bunch of buttons and you can assign different sound effects to each button. Then you simply push the button and instant sound effects. Does such software exist and what is it called if it exists?
What you're talking about is a sound board.
no im talking about a virtual machine. google "sound effects player" and it'll show you what I mean. But all that they have listed are out of date and the author's website is gone.
