Bought a Compaq presario 2178cl from my friend for $20 because he doesn't need it anymore. Their new puppy ate through the AC Adapter. Would you recommend I buy an AC Adapter labeled "Compaq Presario 2100 Series AC Adapter" or one that outputs what the laptop says it inputs on the bottom (19V DC, 3.95A, 75W)
Also would it be possible to delete all users + their data while retaining programs? It runs XP Home.

Deleting users is simple, go Start>Control Panel>User Accounts. I'm sure you could figure it out from there.
