^ out of these 3 search results, which is the BEST for SLI, cause I plan to buy 2 of the same cards, but I don't know which is best for gaming/video editting.
Also, I need to know if the case is big enough for all of this and if the PSU is a bit too much. If it is, please tell me which PSU would be sufficient.
Thanks for your time reviewing this.
also, I plan to OC the processor, that's why I want to buy the water cooler and not a normal CPU fan in case anyone is wondering. Please keep that in mind. :]
Edit: My budget is ranging from $1000-$1800. 1900 is pushing the limit, but I can go with it.
I don't need a mouse/keyboard cause I'll figure those out later. I also need a Windows 7 OS, but you don't have to worry about that :p
I'll be playing games like BF BC2, Black Ops, Crysis 2, and other games, but that'll happen probably a few months after i get this build finished. For video editing, I'll be using 2 main softwares: Sony Vegas Pro and After Effects.
How much "video editing" do you do? If it's not all that much and this is mainly for gaming, I would suggest 4GB RAM.
Not a bad hard drive, but this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185
is pretty much the same performance wise, and it's a little cheaper.
You went wayyy overboard on the PSU.
Never heard of the case before, but there are probably better cases in the range.
You linked the cooler twice, (not the processor) and a Hyper 212+ would probably work just as well but that should work, although this is in the same price range and will work very well if you're okay with air cooling
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608014
That mobo is for a last-gen processor, I would suggest a build using one of the latest gen Intel processors (probably i5-2500k)
And I would recommend not starting out with SLI; upgrade to SLI when your GPU starts to fall behind.
I would suggest having someone else from here put you together a build on newegg.com (It's generally the cheapest site. I would avoid some of the other sites you used, especially Best Buy.) Let me see what I can find, what's your budget?
the h50 isn't that good, there's better air coolers out there
yeah, but I just want a portable water cooler, not those huge ones that'll fill the case with tubing -.- ( I'm a organized freak :O)

I can't do any editing right now, since I got a laptop and it can barely handle the games i play, but once I get this build up, I plan to do A LOT of editting o.o
Okay let me see what I can do for your budget.

Someone else will probably be able to improve on this build. Links:

thanks for the help. I was wondering, how do you find the adequate amount of power to power the whole computer? o.O I've tried using those online calculators and I don't get half the options xD I should study computer stuff more -.- my knowledge about computers is decent but spotty xO
Edit: Is it possible to future proof the build above this post? o.O I want have a build that will last at least 6 yrs..

The best future proofing is keeping some money in reserve. As for power, you'll never need more than 600w for a single gpu, 850 will do anything.

^-^ It takes time, usually XD. It'll come naturally with age, but you should probably stick with 4GB of ram and a less powerful PSU as said before. Everything else looks good xd o.O

4GB of ram isn't enough for me.. esp since my laptop has 4GB

yeah, but would a 850W be enough for 2x evga 570GTX SC?
Edit: I have 1 more request from this kind and helpful community. Can anyone help me find a decent 24" monitor that doesn't have a full glass screen? ( I hate the glares that show up when the sun shines on it) I don't care much for the brand as long as it has a really good price/quality ratio. Also, it has to be 1920 x 1080 or w/e xD cause I want it to be compatible with the evga 570 gtx o.O Thanks so much :D
two 570's have ran on a high quality 650w. 850w is plenty
oh cool. Then when in the world would anyone need a 1600W PSU? o.O

oh I was thinking of server systems, but then I was like do they even use PSU components that are used in pcs? o.O

Bump: Look at my previous post to help me with choosing a monitor o.O
oh yeah, now looking at the MOBO acidcj suggested, is it smart to install a sound card in it? even though the mobo already provides the 6 jacks? o.O *kinda going overboard with this whole build since it'll be costing me 2 grand including a monitor, new razer keyboard+ mouse set and razer mousepad >>*
new razer keyboard+ mouse set and razer mousepad >>*
AUGH! NOO!
[tab]well, maybe, but almost certainly not[/tab]
and you don't need a sound card it's built into the mobo
Are you able to order from newegg
Are you able to order from newegg
I would assume so because he did link us to it.
k, thanks. I need a keyboard so i might as well buy a razer keyboard. Gotta love Razer even tho their expensive xD

I've got a deathadder mouse 3500DPI, and I gotta say, its far from a POS hardware. even tho I bought it when it was $85, instead of the current $64 or so >> I'm pretty happy with it, even thought I'd love to have 2 extra mouse buttons xD this deathadder is just serving as a sub for a mamba O-O

Calm down, if you want him to stop it might have been helpful to link to the facepunch smilies.
http://www.facepunch.com/misc.php
Use them like
And please don't get razer, they're kinda like alienware, sure it works, but you can get a higher quality equivalent for less.

if you don't like my "fucking smileys" why the fuck are you reading my thread anyways? might as well fuck off my thread if you hate the dam smileys.
Lol, I just love to make trollers mad :D lmfao, the facepunch smileys are a hassel to type and I like the aim ones. I kinda started to hate logitech after my wireless set fked me over.. constant battery changes, random connection drops from the set point etc. I don't like other brands mainly cause I've never heard of them in my life. to top it off, razer looks sick and they have 1 hell of a loyal customer, until maybe you can convince me otherwise with some other mouse/keyboard xD

uh if you're using a wireless mouse, you're doing it wrong
na, I'm using a deathadder atm. but the last mouse was wireless. it drops connection/ cursor flys around the screen randomly even though it was properly connected/set up. oh wells, it doesnt matter since my lil sis wanted the set xD
No shit bro, that happens to all wireless mice lol
Seriously the MX518 is one of the best mice currently available, I have experienced 0 problems with it
besides, Logitech will give you a full replacement or even an upgrade if you have a problem with their mice
It's totally your choice but I STRONGLY recommend you get one
it looks funny. o.O <- last excuse why I wanna buy a mamba LOL I'll look into the mouse tomorrow then :] since you helped me so much and recommended the mouse xD
