Got Google Crome with Google Earth, can't get rid of it

I have Firefox. Don't need Google Chrome. But when trying to remove it, I get "Please wait until the current program is finished uninstalling or being changed."
It's doing NOTHING to remove it.
I have Windows 7 64-bit.
Sledgehammer to hard drive has 0% fail rate.
On the other hand, see if chrome.exe is in your processes window
Then restart.
I had Chrome.exe running twice in Task Manager. Removing one of them finally started the Chrome uninstall.
Thank you very much.
No problem.
Although, chrome is a good browser. I have all 3 main browsers on my computer, and mainly use chrome. Why would you want to remove chrome?

Probably because you only need one browser (two if you count IE for the basic compatibility) unless you're a web developer?

There are more addons for firefox at the moment. Also to post above, I like to test each of the browsers regularly, see how they put up with new web standards and javascript speed and other things. Though I'm not a web developer, just very interested.
Chrome gets annoying when it creates a new process for every add-on.

Why? It means that if something crashes, only that process crashes and you don't lose all your tabs.

My browser doesn't crash, and if it does, I can just restore those tabs on startup.
Kind of a weak argument there.

Maybe because people don't like getting software shoved down their throats with no opt-out?

Its not a weak argument if your doing things in more than one tab and you don't want your whole browser to go with it if Flash would crash for some stupid ass'd reason.
Or your internet/PC sucks, you don't want to have to go through reloading EVERY tab again.
Also I use Chrome, because its the only modern web browser that runs on my computer without constantly crashing (512 MB of RAM fuck yea).
You should try out chrome it has come a long way it now has extensions and themes. Also it has support for scripts.
But if you really want it gone. Got into your user then name and then app data which is a hidden folder and then delete the google folder then run the uninstaller and then should disappear then delete the icons and it is gone.
I also have Three browsers installed on my PC, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, only loaded Chrome about 3 times. I expect sometimes late this year early next year i will cross to chrome, Though I still prefer Firefox at the moment.

Or just uninstall IE (if in 7) and use IETab for Chrome or Firefox. I've never been to a site in many years where I had to use IE.
