• How many League of Legends champions is too many? "I don't think we’re close yet"

You can never have enough as long as you can keep up with the balancing portion of it, in my opinion.
they should just take a long break from making champions in order to balance/rework all the current one there's too many champions people don't even bother with cause they so badly need a rework

Pretty sure they've addressed this years ago, when there weren't even 100 champions yet. They make money off champions so for them never enough I geuss? Unless I am wrongly informed with old info... EDIT: Add as many if you can keep balance/ stlll being to know what they do.
They make money off of skins, not champions. Champion sales give a very small profit margain compared to their skin sales. It's really simple and I'm not sure why you didn't think of this.

I don't mind the large number of champs in League, while it still takes forever to learn them all, most of the time you don't need to know everything about an enemy champ's abilities to keep yourself safe and get kills; whereas in Dota knowing the ins and outs of every hero is a lot more important.

People are usually advised against purchasing them with real money because it doesn't take long to get a new champion otherwise.

Dota ha a somewhat bigger range at least where most champs do show up in comp (admittedly a few are auto ban or autopick like batrider.)
350-500 sounds like a good max number, that's about the same number as how many Pokemon I can properly remember.
