Hey guys, I just got a brand new 4890 xfx it comes with 2 power connections though my psu only has one for graphics cards, so I bought a 6 pin molex to PCI-E connector so I could fill both ports, when it arrived there was a major struggle to get it in and we had to use some force. The card is now up and running however after a few minutes of playing any game I get a reboot crash, I'm wondering if maybe the card isnt getting enough power?
Also I cant return it as it was bought from ebay.
Seems like a power issue to me, are you sure your psu is strong enough?
PSU is not good enough, get a new PSU
What PSU do you have?
Some cheap brand 650w I think, but surely that should be giving enough power to the card?

Keeping in mind it ran an XFX 4850 perfectly fine.
Do you have access to any other computer you can put the card in and see if you get the same problem?
