'sup FP, I'm a security guard and every saturday I have a twelve hour post at a construction site in 120 degree weather, with no shade. The only way I could ever survive this is because of my iPod, and some long ass podcasts. But I'm looking to broaden my horizons a bit, and am looking for something that I can just put on and listen to while I drive around in a golf cart for hours on end. Whether that be a really great podcast, your favorite audio book, or even some great-ass standup comedy.
I'm currently listening to The Giant Bombcast:

Retsutalk:

Mike and Tom Eat Snacks:

And I've got the game of thrones audiobook all ready to go. Any of you cool cats got any recommendations so I don't get TOO bored out there?
Have you heard of Continue? They do a podcast where part 1 is their first impressions of a game and the second is their final impression after playing it. From what I've seen though they're pretty love-or-hate, but it's probably worth giving it a shot.
Mega64 podcasts are great

Oh jeez I've been subscribed to them on youtube for a few months. Completely forgot they even had a podcast. Thanks for the reminder!

They have some great podcasts discussing H. P. Lovecrafts literary works, they also have fully acted readings of some of his most popular stories.
The Joe Rogan Experience has always been one of my favorites. Funny as hell and can get pretty in depth about interesting philosophies.

Really recommend it, theres alot of those kind of short clips on youtube if your interested. Also the full length podcasts are like 2 - 3 hours long usually with really cool people and funny comedians etc.
