• Transfering files from a Mac Laptop hard drive to a PC?

Really odd situation I've been thrown into today. My sister's Macbook Air (A1466) died. She's sending it to me in hopes that I can retrieve files off its SSD. She's already sent it, before even really asking me. I dont know a whole lot about Macs, I've never really had a reason to. I basically need to extract the SSD from the laptop and figure out someway to get it to fit into my Windows PC. I'm highly doubting the thing uses sata like my PC, so I'm asking here if anyone knows what sort of connection macbook air ssds use so I can buy the appropriate adapters to get the files off it.

You could also get m.2 Pci-e adapter. If you have newer pc, your motherboard might also have m.2 socket.
