A while back I posted a thread saying that I wanted to upgrade the parts stated in the title because I was dumb and bought a prebuilt and those parts are really sub-par. (Can't find the thread anymore to bump it, so I'm posting a new one)
I find the CPU, HDD, and RAM to be just fine, so please don't suggest upgrading either of those.
Originally I was suggested this for the PSU
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171053&Tpk=coolermaster%20750w
And this for the GPU
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161355&cm_re=6950-_-14-161-355-_-Product
Which is obviously discontinued on Newegg so I need a replacement for that.
I want to know, will something need to be changed? Or is this the kind of parts I want?
Budget is $300 tops.
I live in the US.
The most GPU intensive game I will be playing is Saints Row the Third, and I want to run it on higher settings at a decent framerate.

Looking pretty good so far, thanks!
I'm going to wait for other suggestions (or people who agree with you), no offense to you but I'm a person who likes more then one opinion since hardware is not my forte :v:

Interesting but I've heard that SeaSonics have high failure rate.
Is that true?
And if it's false, what makes it better, if at all, then the XFX PSU that techtuts posted?

Seasonics are probably the most reliable PSUs, XFX uses seasonic internals but XFX sells them for cheaper.
After looking over your other specs, a 450w psu would be good enough - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207018&Tpk=xfx 450w

Okay, thank you very much.
Hard to tell who to trust anymore because I've heard people say this brand sucks, that brand sucks, and that this brand is great and blah blah blah... Conflicting information everywhere.
I try to work off of what other people say but apparently that just makes me dumber...
