I have a TV that i could use for a pc screen but would it change the quality rather than plugging it into an actual PC screen? The TV is a 26" and would it be lower quality than a 20" actual PC screen..?
Depends what TV it is, and if it's HD.
A normal quality TV is only around 720×576 pixels
If its HD it's probably good enough, however PC screens are likely to have better response times.
Chances are you'd have to change lots of settings on the screen too, as PC's display much more harsh & contrasting colours to most TV programs
Yeah it is HD but i'm gonna be using the computer mainly for gaming on games with the highest settings.
Well honestly its probably worth a try, I know a few people who use TV's as a screens and they appear to work fine, you can always switch back if it doesn't work surely?
Ok thanks alot. :)

Isn't that just in Europe?

Is it full HD? As in 1080p
depends if you mind the fps delays. Monitors in general usually have a faster refresh rate, hardly noticeable but every ms counts.:rice:

refresh rate != response time
And plasma tvs have a far, far faster response time than lcds.
