Am I the only one here who prefers Medal of Honor Pacific Assault?
H&D2 and MOHAA are great games.
no men of war, no commandos, no il2, no silent storm (okay, it's a bit arguable)
One of my favorites are the two "Battlestations"-games.

Should have placed WoT with MoW, and WT with IL2.
I'm actually surprised Hidden and Dangerous 2 is on there
[editline]30th October 2014[/editline]
I thought I was like the only person who ever knew about that game
cod:waw? wot? Really?

MoW goes more with CoH than WoT despite having fairly detailed tank damage
List isn't bad but, Call of Duty United Offensive was the best WW2 FPS.
cod:waw instead of cod 2? and no day of defeat either? Burn this list down
cod:waw instead of cod 2? and no day of defeat either? Burn this list down
cod:waw had 4 factions all equipped with equal rifles. i think its the best ww2 shooter there is.

World of tanks shouldnt be there but world at war was fucking spectacular
No Gone Home? Shame on PCGamesN!
The World of Tanks description is completely fucked up - there are no halftracks, historical battles have been temporarily disabled for some time already and it will take more than a year to introduce Polish tanks.
wheres battlefield 1941
no Men of War = shit list
WoT? I can tell you lots of things about wot, but it being a world war two game isn't one of them-
half-tracks
what
Historical Battles which recreate actual conflicts.
shit's been unavailable for hella long time what
From the most obscure little Polish tank to
wtf, do they even know what WoT is? I'm not going to talk about "refined, responsive gameplay" because that's hella subjective (its really bad [oops i just did it]), but these are outright lies
what you need to know is that this game is pretty much free to play, pay to grind at its finest - doesn't mean that it's actually bad. I managed to grind to a few good tanks thanks to heckload of free premium offers and free gold (oy), and the game's actually quite pleasant - but sadly, it's still team based - if your team is bad (shit happens more often than not), you're going to have a bad time.
It has one of the most frustrating gameplay elements (artillery), devs seem to use "gameplay" and "historical" reasons to nerf german tanks and buff russian ones, complete disregard for anything more in tanks' armor than their size - 100mm of german armor is equal to 100mm of russian ones, even if the former was leagues above in quality than the other. Thanks to that, Tiger I is p much one of the worst tanks in the game
On another hand, devs support many museums and tank-related events, which is a really nice thing. They also keep updating the game with new tanks and features - but as far as I'm aware, it's only because war thunder ground forces exists.
If you want to play a timewaster, do not play this one - shit's hella fucking addictive, the big metal beasts, the numbers going up and down. If your will's weak, stay away or you'll curse yourself later. Shit's not pleasant.
Allied Assault and Red Orchestra are on the list, all is well.
Ass Squad 2 needs to be up there, practically at the top.
Men of War??
Also even though its a heavy pay2win game, Heroes and Generals is an extremely satisfying WW2 game .

Did they fix the rampant camping issues?
Should have included Battlefield 1942. It was groundbreaking in the sense that it gave players a massive battleground with tonnes of vehicles (land, sea AND air) and an interesting selection of class choice. Also, Secret Weapons of World War 2 was just great.

Where is CoD 2 ?

I've always regretted not playing online back when this game was at the height of it's popularity. Then again, I was playing it on a crappy laptop back then, I probably wouldn't have been able to play it decently online.
Red Orchestra 2 sounds pretty hardcore.

I thought I was alone. No, I actually really like it a lot better too, at least in terms of story. I can't actually speak for the gameplay because it's been a long time since I played either, but there's no doubt that Pacific has much more interesting and unique characters. A great main menu too.
