Hi people, since i started to play PC games, the framerate of the games are really slow. It could be related to my pc, that was built in 2003-4, so i want to change it's processor, but not fail at changing it, because i heard it must be compatible with the motherboard. My motherboard is an ASUS A7V8X-X. If it's not the solution, tell me what is the things i have to do. I don't have enough cash to buy a new computer. Well i just need to know what i have to do to, thanks for reading if you did.

Can you post full stats of your setup, and perhaps which games your currently trying to play? Framerate can be effected by several factors, from processor, to graphics card to memory. Without knowing what you have in regards to each hard to determine.
Please, tell me how to see them and show them.

This is probably the onboard video card.
Where did you plug in your screen?
In on the face with all the usb ports N shit or a seperate horizontal slot.?

Your motherboard is very very old.
it cant hold any good processor and only has ddr memory and an agp slot.
How much money you have?

To be honest I'd be saving up for a completely new PC, in order to get your PC up to date you'll have to change the motherboard+Processor+RAM+Video Card and probably the Power Supply.
