So, I'm 17 and my dad still has a timed-lock that blocks my internet after 10 PM. Sometimes my Steam will stay connected, but this happens randomly. Does anyone know what I can do so the router won't recognize my computer or something?
When you are online, go to http://192.168.0.1/, it should be the router control panel, and it may have settings. Unless he is blocking it on your physical computer, then you should check your process's and disable it, and disable it from opening on startup. Or just go to sleep at 10PM. You have the whole day to use the computer.
change your lan ipadress if the blocking is done from the router

The router address can also be.

I do not remember the third one possible one.
easiest way to check is to type 'ipconfig' into cmd and look at 'default gateway'.
It is being blocked from the router but it is password protected, not default password or anything like that.
Sounds like you're shit outta luck. Unless you wanted to reset the router but if he uses the internet also (and judging upon your circumstance he does) he'll notice pretty quickly.
