I'd like to somehow share a HDD between two computers of which one is not connected to the network. Because of that, I can't do a network share. I also need the HDD to be "internal" in one of the computers. I ask you, is there some way I could share it over USB? Is this even possible? If not, is there any other way I could share it?
Your only option is a USB KVM, or network share, which you said isn't possible.
So there's no way to, somehow use it as a "virtual external" HDD in the other PC?

Oh and I'll add that it's a regular SATA drive
The best way is really to share over a network. There are alternatives like a USB to USB connection (http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Connecting-Two-PCs-Using-a-USB-USB-Cable/248/1) but honestly its a waste of money and a silly idea. Why can't you network the other computer?
It doesn't have a network card :v:

...I have 7 laying around here... I find it hard to believe you don't own a single one... :geno: Go spend $4.99 on one.
You can connect both of hard drives to one computer and transfer that way
What? I only have one HDD
Just take out first computer's hdd and connect it to second computer, I'm sure you have 2+ sata/ata slots there
But I'd rather like to share it without the hassle of disconnecting it and reconnecting it all the time
probably easiest to buy a cheap network card for it
