Something is using my email address to send spam emails to everyone on my contacts list. I use hotmail with windows live mail, and have tried changing the account password and scanning the computer for viruses with Malwarebytes and spybot S&D. I don't know how else to fix it. Any suggestions?
Are they actually using your account, as in they are appearing in your outbox? They might be spoofing the email.
They aren't even appearing in my outbox, but I know they're being sent because several people I know have complained about it. I found out about spoofing from google but it doesn't seem like there's anything I can do about it, which I think is kind of ridiculous.
