• A quick HDMI in monitors question

I was looking at some monitors for my friend (For his new computer) and I came across one that had HDMI. "Great, then he can play his PS3 on it as well" I thought. But then I noticed how it had no speakers or anything. So how would audio through HDMI on such a monitor work? Thanks.
Audio wouldn't work ofcourse, not with HDMI. But you can use the optical out or the AV cable audio. Since I don't have a PS3 myself, I'm only guessing this would work.

Cool, thanks.
Built in speakers on any flatscreen monitor/tv are shit anyway.
Yeah, but they also often have headphone jacks, which would make connecting external speakers much easier...
