• Steam won't send password reset email

I have a bit of a problem with my Steam account. Basically, because I'm stupid, I forgot my steam password. So, I went to reset it by getting steam to send a confirmation email. Except no email came. I've retried it about 10 times, doing various things, and steam still won't send me the email. I've submitted a ticket to steam support, but I can't afford to wait, because I want to get a stack of games from the summer sale. So, does anyone have any ideas? Is there any way to fix this?
Your best bet is to wait for the steam ticket, if the summer sale ends before you get your account back; submit another ticket to valve with the games you wanted during the time you didn't have your account. Valve's support team is pretty nice and might give you the discounts.
I was having this problem too when I was helping my brother login to steam on a new computer. We logged into his email from a different computer and it was sending it there, but when we checked his inbox on his computer there wasn't anything in there..which was very odd..

Well, I finally got an email, with a confirmation code and a security question I don't remember setting. FML...
Yep, When Steam servers are overloaded, it takes some time.
