• Facepunch, how the fuck do I fix the light in my bathroom?

The light in my bathroom decided to stop working. Dunno if the bulb needs to be replaced or if it's something else. But the problem is that it has a stupid design where I can't remove the glass plate thingo? Pics of it here [t]https://i.imgur.com/n5gv5p4.jpg[/t] [t]https://i.imgur.com/nNl15Pf.jpg[/t] Yes I need to clean the dust off of the fan bit There are four of those circle things around the glass plate thing, but when I press them as if that's a way of releasing the unit, nothing happens. It's as if they are only there stylistically. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
Can you try getting something small and flat to pry off those small circles? There is a chance they are hiding screws underneath.

You could use hot melt glue with a glue gun to attach the caps to something, just dab a good amount to a bottle cap, and then pull it out that way after its stuck afterwards use rubbing alcohol to get the glue off

I suggest trying to use a flat head screw driver from a eye glass/jewelers screw driver set. That's odd that all of that would required to take the glass out though. Does the center vent cover not unscrew? It seems, from a logical design point to use that as what holds up the glass like the small plastic screw on the bottom of most glass domed ceiling lights.

try pulling it down from the sides. I had these weird fixtures once that had these little anchors held down by springs to secure the light fixture into the ceiling that were push to secure / pull to release, might be the same idea

My best bet is the glue method, but I'll need to go down to the store first
You need to travel to the four corners of the map, defeating small-time baddies and collecting rubies to buy higher level gear along the way. In each of the four corners, you will find a creature of the earth grown savage from mutation in an arena - to the West, in a desert ruin; to the East, in a forest clearing; to the North, atop a butte; to the South, in a seaside cave. Defeat them all and you will come home to find the mysterious circles are glowing with faint blue runes. The cover may then be removed and the light bulb replaced.
Do the white caps push in at all? They could be mounted on with a push-and-turn type system. I'm trying to find out anything I can about that particular model online, but nothing tells me how they actually open.
have you tried calling your landlord
Pull on it. It's probably held in by springs if it's anything like the fans in my bathrooms. [editline]16th December 2017[/editline]
try pulling it down from the sides. Judging by the manual you have to unscrew the vent after all
