• GUNNAR Glasses?

Are these things serious? At first when they came out, it seemed like a gimmick but they're around more than ever now. However, I only see professional gamers wear them. Are these things actually helping them, or are they just sponsored by the company?
Both Apparently they help a bit but obviously not really worth the money unless you do have eye strain and stuff when gaming and you have the money
Just play in a room with good lighting and you pretty much get the same effect.
I used gunnar glasses. Not a drastic change. flu.x gets to the same level without costing a bomb. http://justgetflux.com/
Only reason I had a pair for a while was because I worked at Best Buy and could get a good discount. They worked for me but my little cousin got hold of them and you can guess the rest. I struggle with eye strain daily so it was nice to have a product that made an improvement although I do wish they were cheaper.
throw a desk lamp behind your monitors and you'll probably notice a dramatic drop in eye stress compared sitting in pure darkness or pure daylight i don't really like f.lux because although you don't notice it much after a while, it still distorts colours. i do a lot of colour grading and it gets in the way
I use Gunnars, I find the most significant effect with them is they keep moisture in around your eyes so they don't dry out. Other effects are the slight tint and a very minor level of zoom, like .02%-.05%. Really minor effects, but like I said, they keep your eyes moist. So if you tend to stare intensely at the screen for prolonged amounts of time, it takes quite a bit of strain off your eyes.
